On Thursday April 23 Seth Bradley performed for PNC students.Bradley performed some original songs from his newest self-titled album as well as some other popular music.
The audience really enjoyed the music and several tapped their feet to the music.
"Seth Bradley was a funky, cool down to earth rock star. I really enjoyed his cover songs as well as his original songs," Wade Breitzke said.
In between songs Bradley thanked the
audience.
"I wish that I was in your shoes still," Bradley said.
Music has long been a passion for Bradley, beginning at age seven when he would play and record songs in his parent's bedroom. Bradley continued to develop his talents in music through drama and choir in elementary school and into high school.
Even though Bradley always enjoyed music but he followed his parent's wishes and went to college at the University of Illinois where he was a member of the glee club as well as the drama club. Bradley majored in marketing and when he graduated he went on to work at the Chicago Board of Trade.
"Then my boss, who knew that I played music on the side said that he would fund me making a demo tape," Bradley said.
Bradley played with his band the Personnels whom he found on Craigslist.
"I started looking for a band and I put an ad on Craigslist. I got a lot of responses but most of them were shady. Luckily I found these guys and we have become great friends.
The Personnels include Ginson Speich on drums, Justin Eisenbraun and Ryne Estwing on
guitar.
In the future Bradley is looking to gain a larger audience and fan base he says that he may audition
for American Idol.
"People have been asking me for so long about when I am going to audition for American Idol so I think that I will do it soon," Bradley said.
Bradley will be performing on June 6 at the House of Blues. For more information or to listen to some of his original songs visit www.myspace.com/sethbradley or www.sethbradley.com.
