Dillon Hall Rector Fr. Paul Doyle shocked residents Sunday when he announced the residence hall's pep rally, held every year before the first home football game of the season, was cancelled.

Chicago- Students set to live in the Roosevelt on Washington (ROW) dormitories began move-ins yesterday after a week of temporary housing in the Herman Crown Center (HCC).
CCPA students, new international students and annual contract students scheduled to move in August 23, received emails on August 20 stating that due to a lack of Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Chicago, ROW would not be ready on the planned early move-in date.

In response to numerous complaints from cell phone users on campus, telecommunication giants Verizon and AT&T have been placing numerous antennas on various buildings in order to help boost reception on campus.
Notre Dame has been the beneficiary of AT&T's installation of "a distributed antenna system on campus that will allow for better in-building wireless coverage and increased capacity for voice and high-speed data services," Chris Bauer of AT&T Indiana said.
